1DayPlay is the score book and ranking for groups that play racket sports every week: type the score in one sentence, and everyone sees who’s on form.
Before
Scores get lost in the group chat. The spreadsheet nobody updates. “Who’s the strongest?” never gets an answer. Nobody remembers who’s buying the drinks tonight.
After
- 1Đức4.412
- 2Hà4.376
- 3Minh▲ 14.313
- 4Nam▼ 14.280
- 5Alex4.271
Every match is one sentence. Everyone’s group rating updates itself. A ranking anyone in the group can check. The stake is written on each match.
How it works
-
1
Create a group, pick your sport, send the invite link.
-
2
After each match, type the score in one sentence. Paste a whole evening if you like.
-
3
Everyone sees the ranking, each player’s group rating and who’s buying the drinks.
Features
Record a match in a sentence.
It understands accents, nicknames and the many ways people write a score. Tell it once that “Tùng Ốc” is Tùng, and it remembers.
Paste a whole evening, one match per line, then check and save once.
Your group’s rating.
Counted only from the matches your group records, and only for comparing players in your group. It’s shown on the scale your sport already uses (pickleball 2–8, tennis 1–7, padel 0–7, badminton 1–9, table tennis 0–2900, squash on its power scale) and counts the score and your partner, not only the win.

Questions
Does everyone in the group need the app?
No. One person can keep score for the whole group and add players who don’t have the app yet. When they install it later and join with the invite link, their matches and group rating are already there.
How is the group rating calculated?
It’s counted only from the matches recorded in your group. Each match moves all four players’ ratings by the score and by how strong both teams were. Winning 11-9 counts for less than 11-2, beating a stronger team counts for more, and one match never moves a rating too far. Newcomers start at the level they pick.
Is this a DUPR, UTR or official rating?
No. It’s your group’s own rating, counted from the matches your group records. It uses a familiar scale so it’s easy to read, but it doesn’t replace DUPR, UTR, NTRP or federation rankings, and the same player has a different rating in each group.
Does it work for tennis, badminton or table tennis?
Yes. 1DayPlay works for pickleball, tennis, padel, badminton, table tennis and squash. Each group rating is shown on a scale that players of that sport already know, such as 2–8 for pickleball and 1–7 for tennis.
How is the handicap suggested?
1DayPlay compares the two teams’ group ratings and suggests how many points the weaker team starts with, so the match is close to 50/50. You can use the suggestion, change the number or play level.
Is our group’s data private? How do I delete my account?
Your group’s matches and rankings are shared with the members of your group. You sign in with Google or Apple, without a password, and you can delete your account at any time from the Delete account page.
